Job Description

We are looking for Customer Care Representative for our Newry office.
As a Customer Care Representative, you will maintain our current customers and support the external salesperson in their role in adding to our customer base. Development of existing customer relationships will also be important to ensure clients use Lektronix for all their spares and repairs needs.
You will achieve agreed sales targets and ensure that each account is managed to reach its full potential month after month. You will work alongside external salespeople, whose responsibility is to add new customers and support existing ones face-to-face.
You will handle incoming inquiries, update customers on ongoing jobs, and be responsible for pricing, invoicing, and collections. Customers will range from small companies to large multinationals across various manufacturing backgrounds.
You will report to the Customer Service Team Leader.
The Responsibilities – you will do:
- Achieve sales targets and manage a geographical area in Ireland to maximize sales potential.
- Maintain customer relationships.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.
- Assess and price repair and supply jobs, considering individual customer needs and potential.
- Maintain a database of existing and potential customers.
- Follow up on leads, initiate contact, and develop new customers.
- Provide information on price, availability, delivery expectations, and order status.
- Support management with business development insights and recommendations.
- Handle after-sales queries, investigate complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with workshops, escalate issues, and relay feedback to customers.
- Engage with other Customer Service personnel, Regional Sales Managers, and the Commercial Manager in sales activities.
- Provide business management information to all levels.
- Identify key issues from gathered information.
- Demonstrate alignment with Rockwell Automation values and act with integrity.
The essentials – you will have:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C in English & Mathematics.
- Experience using Microsoft Office.
- Experience assisting customers via chat and email support in English.
- Skills in cross-selling products.
- Experience providing troubleshooting and resolutions, maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to analyze information quickly and provide customer-centric solutions.
The preferred – Experience you might also have:
