Job Description Position Summary

As Global Product Manager for assigned Independent Cart Technology (ICT) products, you will manage products throughout their lifecycle.

From vision and execution to roadmap definition, feature prioritization, and external communication, you will shape the future of these solutions and help grow a loyal internal and external customer base.

You will lead product strategy and execution from concept through delivery, working with teams across sales, marketing, finance, legal, support, product development, engineering, and partner companies.

This individual contributor role includes indirect leadership of a broader team and functionally reports to the Independent Cart Technology (ICT) Global Business Manager.

We are looking for a product manager passionate about growing the Independent Cart Technology (ICT) business in a maturing market and supporting its transformation.

You have a strong understanding of industrial automation machine design, Independent Cart Technology (ICT), Motion Control, emerging technologies, and market trends.

What Motion Control Does

To stay ahead in today's business environment, companies need faster ways to design, develop, and deliver advanced machines that meet customer goals.

Our Motion Control software simplifies machine design, integration, and system debugging while accelerating time to market.

We offer servo drives, servo motors, and actuators that simplify machine design, increase system flexibility, and improve performance.

We also provide a new linear motor approach that uses magnets instead of gears, chains, and belts to deliver precise motion control with frictionless propulsion.

This reduces downtime and maintenance, lowers energy consumption, and improves the ability to change machine profiles.

Your Responsibilities

  • Functional Manage the full product lifecycle, from strategic planning and new product development through launch, support, discontinuation, and migration planning.
  • Drive Independent Cart Technology (ICT) adoption and channel strategy to grow the customer base for assigned products.
  • Prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive strategies to identify opportunities that increase customer and business value.
  • Develop business cases and detailed product requirements based on market needs and industry trends.
  • Lead new product development from concept through commercialization, including voice‑of‑customer research, value proposition definition, customer and product requirements, presentations, and competitive analysis.
  • Work with manufacturing, supply chain, and sourcing to ensure market‑relevant lead times.
  • Understand and support engineering‑to‑order business requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Be a subject matter expert and advocate for the products and features you own.
  • Represent assigned products at internal and external events.
  • Be the primary contact for partner companies to drive greater adoption.
  • Set global competitive pricing aligned with regional channel strategy.
  • Travel globally up to 30% of the time.
  • Influence Lead cross‑functional collaboration to align teams around market needs and product priorities.
  • Balance scope, schedule, engineering effort, and product cost when making decisions.
  • Advocate for customers while partnering with Engineering, Program Management, Market Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Legal.
  • Model collaborative, accountable behavior for peers and partners.
  • Make informed decisions consistent with company policies and delegation‑of‑authority requirements.
  • Support customer success stories and commercial marketing collateral.
  • Follow applicable health, safety, quality, environmental, and company requirements.
  • Interpersonal Communicate product updates and milestones to internal and external partners.
  • Make decisions and lead issues to resolution.
  • Keep management, peers, and team members informed on important activities.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects, responsibilities and topics.

The Essentials - You Will Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U. S.

  • Ability to travel, including internationally, up to 30% of time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of experience in product management, technical sales, commercial engineering, or engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in industrial automation.
  • Product marketing experience in industrial automation.
  • Experience using customer insights and data to inform product decisions.
  • Experience communicating product updates, milestones, and progress to internal and external partners, with the ability to work across all levels of an organization.
  • Explain complex technical, product, application, and commercial topics clearly to different audiences.
  • Connect market insights with creative business solutions.

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $100,240.00 - 150,360.00 USD with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary.

Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
