As an Account Manager OEM at Rockwell Automation, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of our cutting-edge products and services to established accounts within your assigned geographic territory (West Midlands and North West, M6 corridor). Your primary mission is to surpass annual sales targets by identifying and seizing business opportunities, while fostering and strengthening relationships with our valued clients.
You will report to Sales Manager OEM.
The responsibilities - you will do:- Develop and implement account plans for assigned accounts.
- Lead Rockwell Automation resources to provide optimal solutions to customers.
- Drive the execution of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing orders.
- Collaborate with multiple sales teams to enhance market reach and ensure comprehensive sales coverage.
- Effectively handle objections, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and negotiate profitable deals.
- Consult with cross-functional teams on pricing, product specifications, warranties, and adaptations to meet customer needs.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in technology-based sales in the Industrial Automation area.
- Valid driving license.
- Sales experience in the OEM/machine builder business.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical related field or equivalent.
- Relevant competencies and experience in achieving results.
- Capability to acquire new business within existing and new customer accounts.
