As the Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the front of house management team to guarantee the seamless operation at Rockwater. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Restaurant and Assistant Managers in running organised and smooth shifts and delivering high standards of customer service whilst maintaining high health and hygiene standards.
  • Achieving company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance and cleanliness of Rockwater through training of employees whilst maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensuring that all staff are delivering the “Rockwater Experience” at all times to all guests by touching in with each table, and ensuring that each waiter is present in their section at all times.
  • Ensuring guest’s orders are taken promptly and directed to the kitchen or bar in a timely manner, passing on all guest requirements, including allergy details.
  • Having great communication with the kitchen regarding menu availabilities and alterations.
  • Helping guests make great decisions when ordering by having an extensive knowledge of the menu and suggesting dishes and drinks to match their tastes and preferences.
  • Liaising with the host/ess and kitchen to maintain a smooth and professional level of service.
  • Effectively managing guest complaints and solving in a way that makes the guest leave happy and not feel the need to escape. Reporting any issues to Senior Management.
  • Compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene.
  • Maximising sales opportunities throughout Rockwater by upselling to guests where appropriate.
  • Having an extensive understanding of Rockwater and the various experiences we offer our guests, including our Openwater subscription.
  • Being at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and to clock in and out accordingly.
  • Leading by example and being presentable to represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard and expecting the same of your team.
  • Ensuring new starters are fully trained and integrated into the Rockwater team.
  • Assisting where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 1 year’s experience as a supervisor or team leader in a high volume venue.
