As a Chef de Partie at Rockwater, you will play an important role in our kitchen team. You will work alongside the kitchen management team to carefully create amazing plates for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, promoting a sanitary and organised workspace.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, maintaining a commitment to high quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment within the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with Senior Chefs to implement cost control measures, including portion control and waste reduction, contributing to financial sustainability.
  • Work closely with all departments within Rockwater to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene regulations.
  • Take an active role in the training of new chefs and kitchen porters, fostering a skilled and efficient team.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium high-volume venue.
