Rockwater Hove seeks a proactive and cheerful bartender to elevate the guest experience by crafting a diverse array of beverages – cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, coffee, and soft drinks – according to brand specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of the drinks menu and assist with new ideas when appropriate.
- Ensure hot and cold drinks, cocktails, and wine are presented to Rockwater standards.
- Follow correct allergy procedures at all times.
- Maintain bar and coffee stock levels, and keep the coffee machine properly maintained.
- Minimise wastage and record it appropriately.
- Understand and comply with current licensing laws.
- Use the POS system correctly to place orders and take payments, ensuring all checks are correct and items are charged at the correct price.
- Have a thorough understanding of the F&B systems operating within Rockwater.
- Adhere to opening and closing checklists.
- Deliver the 'Rockwater Experience' to all guests by following Waves of Service standards.
- Comply with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene regulations.
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling to guests where appropriate.
- Understand Rockwater and the various experiences offered, including the Openwater subscription.
- Be at work and ready to start your shift as per your rota and clock in and out accordingly.
- Look presentable and represent the Rockwater brand to the highest standard.
- Follow management guidance or instructions given, such as overall bar cleaning.
- Assist where required throughout Rockwater according to business needs.
