Rockstar is on the lookout for a passionate Associate Production Coordinator to join our Art Production team and assist in making some of the most highly respected and widely recognised AAA titles in video games. This is a full-time, permanent and in-office position based in Rockstar’s state-of-the-art game development studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
WHAT WE DO
- Production Coordinators work to improve global communication between various disciplines of Art, Code and Design to ensure there is a clear workflow, with transparency of moving parts, to our fellow developers.
- We collaborate with Artists, Leads and Directors to schedule, track and complete team goals.
- We proactively use knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect our development teams.
- We build an inclusive, engaged, and fun working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide production support to the Art team.
- Assign, prioritize, and track tasks using our in-house project management tools.
- Assist development teams in identifying and resolving issues preventing progress.
- Proactively help to streamline and adjust the Art and connected teams project management processes.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Prepare effective production reports and ensure meetings are properly documented and actioned.
- Help manage the flow of assets and information between disciplines and team members.
- Maintain an active awareness of team goals and timelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrable experience organising and tracking large amounts of information.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic, milestone driven environment.
- Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions and implement them.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), Shotgrid, Confluence and other project tracking and bug database software.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, interested in games and curious about how things work.
PLUSES
- Experience with or interest in the production of video game art.
- Software development or video game industry experience.
- Proficiency in software used to manage projects and facilitate related communication, including and not limited to Excel, Figma, Monday, PowerBi, Shotgrid, Bug Tracking Programs (i.e. TestTrack Pro, JIRA, Bugzilla), Word, MS Project, PPM system, Visio, and PowerPoint.
