We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established travel company specialising in emergency repatriation travel. This is a genuinely rewarding opportunity where you’ll be helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Working as part of a supportive 24-hour operations team, you’ll manage urgent travel arrangements for passengers needing to return home following medical emergencies abroad. This role would suit somebody calm under pressure who enjoys problem solving and making a real difference. Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.
What will I be doing?- Managing urgent travel arrangements for medical repatriation cases worldwide
- Booking flights, accommodation and other travel services quickly and accurately
- Handling sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism and urgency
- Managing cases from enquiry through to final booking
- Working closely with colleagues within a 24-hour operation
- Previous travel industry experience is essential
- Galileo or Amadeus experience would be highly beneficial
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- The ability to work independently overnight
- Initial training will take place in the Hampshire office and is expected to last approximately two weeks on day shifts before transitioning onto nights
- Current shift patterns are: Monday to Friday: 22:00 – 08:00; Saturday & Sunday: 21:00 – 08:00
- Flexible working options are available, and both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered
