Event Operations Coordinator
We are working with one of the leading educational tour operators.
They are an ambitious business with many award-winning brands and are now looking for someone to join their team that specialises in creating inspiring sporting and study events for students.
Event Operations Coordinator β what will I be doing?
You will collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver exceptional events and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities include planning logistics, booking venues, arranging accommodations and transport, and managing on-site event execution.
Event Operations Coordinator β What experience do I need?
- You will need proven customer service experience, but our client is happy to look at a junior recent graduate who would like to be trained up into the role if they have a passion for this kind of industry.
- You will need strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Proficiency in Excel
- Adaptable and flexible
- Knowledge of the school travel market would be a real advantage.
- Experience in group tour operations would be desirable.
- Understanding of sporting events
- French language skills β not essential
Event Operations Coordinator β What else do I need to know?
This is an office-based role in the Sutton, Surrey area.
Monday to Friday with occasional work outside these areas for events.
You will be required to attend some of the events throughout the year.
The core hours are Monday to Friday
9β5. There is 25 days annual leave, with the option for unpaid leave. Flexible working hours around term time considered.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about event coordination and committed to excellent customer experiences.
