We are recruiting on behalf of a global travel and events organisation that is continuing to expand its meetings and events division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Event Technology professional to take ownership of event registration platforms and technology delivery across a wide range of high-profile events.
This role will focus on building and managing event registration websites and digital event platforms using Cvent, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and clients alike. Working closely with event managers, clients and internal teams, you will play a key role in delivering complex event programmes and maintaining exceptional standards across the entire event lifecycle.
The role is fully remote within the UK and sits within a collaborative, fast-growing events team supporting international clients.
What will I be doing?- Designing and building event registration websites and digital event platforms using Cvent
- Managing the full registration journey, from initial setup and attendee communications through to post-event reporting
- Supporting virtual, hybrid and in-person events, including mobile event apps and attendee management tools
- Acting as a key contact for clients on registration and event technology projects
- Developing timelines for website launches, invitations, attendee communications and registration milestones
- Producing reports and analysing registration data to support event delivery and client insight
- Maintaining strong quality control across attendee data, rooming lists and event documentation
- Troubleshooting technology or registration issues and ensuring smooth onsite registration processes when required
- Supporting event managers and internal teams with communications, documentation and event planning activity
- Leading and supporting event technology contractors or onsite registration teams where required
- Previous experience working with the Cvent platform to build and manage event registration websites
- Strong understanding of event technology including attendee management, registration systems and event apps
- Experience delivering complex event programmes with multiple stakeholders and deadlines
- Confident project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
- Experience mentoring or guiding colleagues would be beneficial
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach when dealing with challenges or changing priorities
- This is a fully remote role based in the UK
- You will be part of a growing international meetings and events team delivering large-scale programmes
- Some travel and occasional work outside standard hours may be required depending on event schedules
