We are recruiting on behalf of a growing travel business who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is a varied role where you will play an important part in maintaining healthy cashflow, supporting client relationships and ensuring accounts are well managed. It would suit someone with experience in accounts receivable or credit control who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Credit Controller – what will I be doing?
- Managing aged debt and carrying out regular debt chasing via phone and email
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to support timely payment
- Sending statements and communicating clearly on outstanding balances
- Allocating payments and ensuring accounts are accurately reconciled
- Monitoring credit limits and escalating any potential risks
- Supporting with invoicing and providing documentation where required
- Assisting the wider finance team with administrative and operational tasks
Credit Controller – what experience do I need?
- Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or a finance role
- Confident communicator with the ability to build professional client relationships, sometimes face to face
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using Excel and financial systems
