We are recruiting on behalf of a small but growing, high-end travel group that creates exceptional holidays for discerning travellers. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager from the Travel Industry to work closely with the owners of the business and take full responsibility for marketing across the group.
This is a standalone role, so we are looking for someone who is equally comfortable shaping strategy and delivering the day-to-day activity. You will play a key part in strengthening brand presence, driving enquiries and supporting the continued growth of the business.
This is a fully remote role, with both full-time and part-time applications considered.
What will I be doing?
- Developing and delivering annual marketing plans aligned with brand and commercial objectives
- Managing marketing budgets, forecasting and reporting on activity and results
- Planning and delivering integrated campaigns around key seasonal booking periods
- Running day-to-day marketing activity across SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing
- Writing and managing engaging content across blogs, newsletters and social channels
- Ensuring a consistent brand voice and strong storytelling across all customer touchpoints
- Identifying opportunities for influencer activity, PR coverage and brand partnerships
- Supporting trade and media activity that helps raise the profile of the business
- Managing and updating WordPress websites, making sure content and user journeys support lead generation
- Monitoring website and campaign performance using analytics and insights to improve results over time
What experience do I need?
- Direct experience of marketing luxury African holidays is essential
- A passion for travel to Africa is also necessary
- Previous marketing experience within the luxury travel sector is essential
- Strong knowledge of SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media and content creation
- Experience delivering full marketing campaigns from planning through to execution
- Excellent content writing and brand storytelling skills
- Strong analytical skills and confidence using data and insights to guide decisions
- Experience working with WordPress websites
- A proactive, creative and energetic approach, with the confidence to thrive in a standalone role
What else do I need to know?
- This is a fully remote role
