We are recruiting on behalf of a growing global travel business who are looking to expand their support services team with an experienced Business Travel Support Specialist. This is a fully remote role within a fast-paced business travel environment, focused on the operational and behind-the-scenes side of corporate travel, supporting bookings made through modern online systems and booking technology. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of business travel, problem solving, ticketing and ensuring bookings run smoothly from start to finish.
Business Travel Support Specialist – what will I be doing?
- Monitoring and managing booking queues within Sabre and internal systems
- Resolving ticketing issues, booking errors and schedule changes
- Supporting with refunds, voids and unused ticket management
- Quality checking bookings and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and accurately
- Supporting the smooth processing and quality control of bookings made through online booking systems
- Investigating and resolving operational problems before they impact travellers
- Escalating more complex or VIP issues to the appropriate teams where needed
- Working closely with wider operations and support teams within a global environment
- Maintaining accurate records and working within agreed service levels
Business Travel Support Specialist – what experience do I need?
- Previous experience within a Business Travel/TMC environment
- Strong Sabre knowledge is essential
- Experience working with queues, ticketing, reissues, refunds or operational support
- Strong attention to detail and a highly organised approach
- Comfortable working independently within a remote role
- Confident managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
- Experience using online booking systems or travel technology would be beneficial
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Business Travel Support Specialist – What else do I need to know?
- Fully remote role based in the UK
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
- One weekend day required every 6 weeks with a day off in lieu during the week
