Are you looking to build your accounts career within the travel industry? Or are you an experienced BSP invoicer ready for a new challenge in a friendly, informal business?

We are recruiting for a specialist travel company working across corporate travel and the fast-paced world of music touring.

This is a varied invoicing role where no two days are quite the same—you could process 50 invoices one day and have a much quieter workload the next.

The company is happy to consider either

A junior Accounts Assistant who has gained some experience within a travel company and understands airline tickets.

An experienced travel accounts professional with BSP invoicing knowledge.

Previous experience using Travcom would be particularly useful, although attitude and a willingness to learn are just as important for a junior candidate.

Accounts Assistant - What will you be doing?

  • Raising client invoices and credit notes.
  • Ensuring all BSP tickets have been invoiced by running a fortnightly missing-ticket report.
  • Contacting travel agents regarding missing tickets and credit card charges.
  • Reconciling and invoicing company credit card charges.
  • Applying for refunds through BSP Link and keeping agents updated on their progress.
  • Checking BSP Link for new ADMs and ACMs and arranging the necessary authorisation.
  • Liaising with hotels regarding charges for client invoices.
  • Performing the system backup at the end of each day.

Accounts Assistant - What are we looking for?

  • Some previous accounts experience within the travel industry, or established experience in BSP invoicing.
  • A basic understanding of airline tickets and travel transactions.
  • Travcom experience would be advantageous.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
  • Someone organised, comfortable communicating with travel agents and happy working as part of a small team.
  • A little personality! This is an informal, non-corporate company where jeans and shorts are absolutely fine.
  • You must be happy to work in the London office five days a week.

Accounts Assistant - What's on offer?

Working hours of 9:30am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Opportunities to receive tickets to music concerts and gigs.

The opportunity to learn specialist travel invoicing within an established travel company.

A friendly, informal and close-knit working environment.

This is an office based role just North of Central London - you will be needed in the office everyday.

This is a small office-based team, so the role will suit someone comfortable working in a close-knit and informal environment.
