This opportunity is working for a well-respected worldwide tour operator who have some incredible offices based in Surrey. They have been offering a wide range of inspiring holiday and school trip programmes for over 38 years. You will join the Education department which is the UK leader in geography school trips abroad and are the only provider to be partnered with the Geographical Association. The team includes experienced ex-teachers and travel specialists, all experts in the destinations that they sell.
Travel Specialist - What will I be doing?
- You will be working with teachers to ensure their pupils get the full benefit of educational travel and the opportunity to learn outside the classroom.
- Field a wide range of enquiries over the telephone, email and occasionally face to face.
- Provide expert destination and subject matter advice and general guidance to customers to assist them with their booking.
- Maintain an excellent degree of knowledge on the regions and products you are selling.
- Progressing and administering enquiries from quote to confirmed booking on the reservations system.
- You will ensure the customer is fully informed and supported throughout the booking process.
