Our client is an independent charity combating domestic abuse in North Surrey. As Finance Manager, you'll manage and control the finances of this charity and support the Chief Executive Officer and Business Manager with all financial decision making.
- Preparing statutory accounts and managing the year-end audit
- Producing quarterly management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
- Liaising with external funders and consolidating financial reports with partner organisations
- Overseeing payroll (in partnership with a third-party provider)
- Ensuring strong financial controls and supporting the charity's long-term financial planning
What experience do I need?
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified with experience of working for a Charity (preferable)
- Experience managing finances for a similar-sized organisation
- Confident preparing financial statements, management reports, and handling audits
- Skilled in Excel and familiar with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
- Experience of charity accounting and working with restricted/unrestricted funding is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with non-finance colleagues and trustees

This is a permanent, part-time role (14 hours per week), based in Walton-on-Thames. You'll be joining a close-knit, mission-led team making a real impact in the community.
