A leading UK consumer brand is investing heavily in its digital transformation programme and is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager to take ownership of its newly implemented Salesforce ecosystem. This is a high-impact role where you will lead the development of automated customer journeys, targeted campaigns and data-driven marketing automation, supporting a large multi-region business with strong growth ambitions. You will act as the internal expert for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, working closely with marketing, sales and regional teams to optimise customer journeys and ensure data-led marketing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation & Journey Development
- Build and optimise automated nurture journeys using Journey Builder
- Develop trigger-based journeys linked to website behaviours such as downloads, enquiries and bookings
- Continuously improve journeys through A/B testing, segmentation and behavioural insights
- Email Campaign Delivery
- Design and deploy targeted campaigns using Email Studio and Automation Studio
- Support national marketing initiatives and regional campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency and campaign performance optimisation
- Data & Platform Management
- Manage data extensions, segmentation logic and subscriber management
- Work closely with Salesforce Sales Cloud stakeholders to maintain data accuracy
- Monitor and resolve data sync or integration issues
- Insights & Performance
- Build dashboards and performance reporting
- Analyse journey performance, engagement and conversion metrics
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance
- Governance & Best Practice
- Establish Marketing Cloud processes and documentation
- Support GDPR-compliant marketing activity
- Help train internal teams on campaign deployment
About You
You will bring strong hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, ideally within a data-driven marketing environment. Key experience includes:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder)
- Marketing automation and customer journey development
- Campaign segmentation and nurture programmes
- Data extensions and SQL
- Marketing analytics and reporting
Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud or CRM-driven marketing environments would be beneficial.
