Rolling rota - 3 shifts on, 3 off, followed by 2 shifts on, 2 off.

Are you caring, patient, and passionate about supporting young people? As a Waking Night Care Worker, you will provide consistent overnight support, ensuring each child’s safety, well-being, and comfort in line with our policies and procedures. You’ll help maintain a secure, nurturing environment while responding to individual needs and promoting a sense of stability throughout the night.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide awake-night supervision, ensuring the home remains safe and calm.
  • Work with the team to offer emotional and practical support.
  • Complete regular safety and security checks and ensure all children/young people are accounted for.
  • Support bedtime routines and help children/young people settle for the night.
  • Assist children/young people in the morning with waking and getting ready.
  • Create a supportive environment where every child/young person feels valued and listened to.
