Restaurant Director for an iconic and extraordinary culinary masterpiece. This is a once in a career chance to take up the sublime reins of this unique and world-famous 2 Michelin Star hideaway.

As Restaurant Director, you must have excellent contact with the guests, which is key to the success of this appointment, along with an enviable gravitas. You will be the face of the business for this important role and effectively become one of the main attractions, alongside the sublime food and culinary experience that guests come from far and wide to sample.

We need someone who is fast-paced and of high calibre, with natural gravitas, an exemplary eye for detail, and knowledge of what Michelin star food and service looks like, as well as understanding guest expectations.

With a team of 12 relatively young members, we require a strong leader who can instil a sense of pride in all that they do. As this is my client's home, we need someone who can act as their business partner, valuing the place as if it were their own home.

My client is straightforward and a proper chef, so we need someone who can handle an owner-operator whose standards and expectations are second to none. Flexibility is essential, as you would be working for an institution with an enviable reputation built over 20 years. We are looking for someone to take on this role seriously for a sustained period of time.

Above all, this person needs to bring strong experience, ideally within the Michelin star world, but not necessarily, as long as your standards are high enough and you possess the hunger to be moulded to the 2 Michelin Star way. This is a rare role that only looks to the market very occasionally and can significantly impact someone's career in the creative and innovative world of world-class restaurants. If you succeed in this role, the world is quite literally your oyster!
