This is a brilliant time to be joining this true Independent restaurant which is family run and hence its ethos is all about a family feel vibe with great food set in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. My client is looking for someone with the right attitude and energy over experience - so a really rare opportunity. My client is one of only 2 true Independent Pub Restaurants opened recently in the most stunning spot in Exeter on the Cathedral Green! This is the opposite of corporate or a chain; this really is unique and will soon make waves as the place to go in the West Country for wonderful food, drink and atmosphere!
This is a hugely exciting time to be joining this relatively new opening and I am looking for a brilliant upbeat energetic character to join this already hugely successful family company, boasting their own brewery as well. As General Manager, where people already come to experience the restaurant because of the reputation that has been created, you would become the face and ambassador!
We need someone who really does just love being a people pleaser and has a personality that is instantly warm and friendly and makes guests feel so welcome. A few of the characteristics that you would have to be a fit would be:

I cannot stress enough that the family who own this new venture are so lovely and supportive and you will be well looked after. In return, we need someone who has the gravitas and leadership skills to inspire and drive a fun and upbeat young team, creating a fun but driven environment!
You need to know what good looks like in terms of food and drink and be confident and engaging. All ingredients for the menu are sourced locally and the venue boasts a state of the art wood fired pizza oven alongside their signature seasonal dishes as well as boasting their own brewery for their now famous line of beers, ciders and lager. There is accommodation offered with the role on the Cathedral Green, so really a perfect role for someone who is a fit.
