General Manager of the Luxury Hotel and Spa. This is a prized jewel in the heart of one of the wealthiest parts of the UK, becoming the New Cotswold's, a gorgeous spot right on the river set within 200 acres of parkland with oodles of potential due to the investment happening to this Luxury Boutique Hotel and Spa over the next year.

This is a golden opportunity for a fabulous Hotelier to be General Manager of a Boutique Luxury Hotel & Spa, to really make your mark on this gorgeous spot known for its laid-back luxury. We would love someone who is driven, ambitious, resilient, with a "guest comes first" mentality, loves a challenge but leads your team through setting an example of what great looks like, from the flowers to the Chateaubriand; the attention to detail needs to be part of your DNA.

You will inherit a very strong team from Housekeeping to Events and all in between. What we need from you is to be the face of this hidden gem, get out and about with your locals, both corporate and families, be brilliant at networking, and be a fantastic host with an ability to own the room! We want people to come to the hotel because of you and your brilliance. We just need a proper Hotel General Manager who gets it, is visible at all times, and wants to take the (very strong and capable) team with them.

An ideal route would be a current Deputy GM who is ready for a step up, although equally a proven GM would also fit. You will have tons of support in Marketing and Finance; we just need you to be a real leader, someone with oodles of presence who is a natural at socialising with your guests and in so doing creating a strong network of loyal repeat guests, all because of you and your enviable ability to charm and connect with people. This we cannot train; you either have it or you don’t. The rest we can support you on.

You will have the skill of quickly recognising your guests and the detail about them that matters, knowing who they are when they come to eat in one of your restaurants or use one of your event spaces. This is a rare talent and one that cannot be underestimated in the luxury hotels of the world.

This hotel has so much to offer; it sells itself: beautiful rooms, an orangery, restaurants, bars, outdoor space, fantastic events venue, enviable location right on the water, and unrivalled outdoor spaces. We need you to be an excellent communicator, building routine for your team through excellent communication. We need you to be decisive and really want to live and breathe the business - you can literally make this your own.
