This is the perfect destination for seafood lovers. Our restaurant overlooks the ocean, and is right next door to the National Marine Aquarium where you can see fish from all over the world and learn about the great work they do in preserving and managing our marine environment. The famous Plymouth fish market is just feet from our front door and from Rockfish you can watch the boats land. We have 120 covers at this restaurant, 50 in the takeaway and seating for 100 outside for guests using our takeaway and bar. In the colder months our restaurant is heated by a log burner which makes it a cozy environment to enjoy great seafood with a view of the ocean.

The Role

As Manager in Training, you will support the General Manager in creating a restaurant environment where the team is inspired to care about what they do through motivating, training and leading by example. You will coach your team to fulfil their full potential ensuring you and your team embrace our core values, ‘Care, Community and Connection’. As a new Rockfish Manager in Training, you will be supported by a structured training plan, and we continuously develop your skills for a fulfilling career with us. You will be required to supervise the serving of alcohol and have at least one year’s experience as a Server or at Supervisor level in a similar restaurant environment. You will have a flexible approach to working hours, able to support the business when it’s at its busiest.
