Our client is a well-established, dynamic and highly profitable supplier of technology products and services to an impressive, international customer base.
They seek to appoint a new member to the Project Management Team – the role will be varied and will suit someone who likes to be busy, is able to multitask and who takes a pro‑active approach to work. Reporting to the Managing Director and supported by a Project Coordinator, this will be a broad, commercial and client facing. You will have Customer, Project, and financial responsibility.
The role:
- Plans and organises project activities, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources
- Communicates with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
- Monitors and tracks project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise
- Conducts project reviews and prepares reports for management
- Meets with team members and stakeholders to discuss project requirements and updates
- Reviews project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Coordinates and delegates tasks to team members
- Monitors project progress in order to resolve any issues or conflicts
- Communicates with clients or external vendors
- Updates project documentation and reports
Candidate Requirements:
- Relevant university degree or equivalent qualification.
- Project management certification: Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, AgilePM, demonstrating your knowledge and skills in project management.
- Industry experience: Working in the telecommunications industry and experience in project coordination or related roles that transitioned into a project management position.
- Sound knowledge of Project management for planning and tracking project activities
The position to be office based.
Full training will be provided on product, services and industry specifics.
