This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity to join a rapidly growing global FMCG employer of choice. Our client is looking for a passionate and self-motivated NPD technician (initially on a 4 month contract, but with potential to extend/become permanent) to create and improve a diverse range of new and existing products. This is a busy and hands-on role in which you will be working on a multitude of projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the NPD pipeline and improvement of a diverse range of products
- Creating and maintaining raw materials specifications and finished good specifications
- Designing and executing production trials on-site in the factory, validation testing, and sensory evaluation
- Collaborating cross-functionally to provide product development subject matter expertise
- Supplier partnership and continuous improvement
About you
You will be qualified by degree (or equivalent) in food science or food technology (or similar) and have some technical understanding of the effects of ingredients and new process technologies and managing multiple projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to launch their career.
