This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing and evolving global FMCG manufacturer as a lead product developer, managing the pipeline of concept-to-launch product development, working at the forefront of food technology and sustainability, developing new products and driving innovation and excellence for a range of market-leading global consumer products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading a portfolio of complex NPD and innovation projects
  • Understanding customer and consumer insights and translating into safe, legal and repeatable specifications
  • Ensuring delivery of the R&D plan to agreed timings, budget and quality standards
  • Forging strong and effective relationships with a network of technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and with suppliers.

About you

You will be qualified by degree (or equivalent) in food science or food technology and have a sound technical understanding of the effects of ingredients. Experience of powder-manufacturing processes would be highly desirable, along with knowledge of new process technologies and managing multiple projects. You will also have a high level of numeracy in order to interpret trend analysis and consumer insights, with some knowledge of statistical tools for analysing data.
