As our customer footprint grows, we are investing in a dedicated Salesforce Professional Services function to deliver high-quality implementation, integration, and ongoing support work alongside our core product.

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Professional Services sales specialist to build and grow RocketPhone.ai’s Professional Services revenue stream. This is the first Professional Services sales hire and a foundational role within a separate, dedicated Professional Services function inside RocketPhone.ai. Professional Services operates with its own implementation consultants and project management capability, rather than competing for time or resources with core product engineering teams.

You’ll have responsibility not just for selling Professional Services, but for shaping how opportunities are identified, scoped, and scaled over time. For someone ambitious, this role offers a clear path to leadership, including the opportunity to build and lead a Professional Services sales team as the function grows.

Typical Professional Services Engagements

The Salesforce Professional Services function at RocketPhone.ai delivers complex, high-value projects that extend and embed RocketPhone into customers’ existing Salesforce and telephony environments.

  • Complex Integration Projects
  • Integrating RocketPhone with existing telephony and contact centre infrastructure, including legacy PBXs, SIP providers, and third-party voice platforms
  • Designing and delivering hybrid environments where RocketPhone operates alongside existing voice or contact centre solutions
  • Custom integrations between RocketPhone, Salesforce, and other business applications and systems
  • Phased or multi-region rollouts of RocketPhone to large user populations, often across multiple Salesforce orgs or business units
  • Change management support, enablement, and rollout planning for enterprise-scale deployments
  • Salesforce Implementation & Configuration
    • Core Salesforce licence implementations to support RocketPhone use cases (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, custom objects, automation)
    • Advanced Salesforce configuration, including flows, automation, custom objects, and reporting to support conversation data
    • Ongoing Salesforce configuration and optimisation as customer requirements evolve
  • Maintenance & Managed Services
    • Ongoing maintenance and managed service contracts covering RocketPhone, Salesforce configuration, and integrations
    • Proactive platform optimisation, health checks, and configuration updates
    • Support for upgrades, new features, and evolving business requirements
  • Premium Support Contracts
    • Premium support packages with defined SLAs, response times, and escalation paths
    • Named support resources and priority access to Professional Services teams
    • Support for business-critical environments with high availability and reliability requirements

    Identify and develop Professional Services opportunities across RocketPhone. Work collaboratively with core software sales to position Professional Services at the right point in the customer lifecycle. Scope, structure, and sell Professional Services engagements delivered by a dedicated PS implementation and project management team, including:

    • Custom Salesforce configuration
    • Implementation extensions
    • Ongoing maintenance and support contracts

    Own the end-to-end Professional Services sales cycle, from discovery through to close. Partner closely with Professional Services delivery, product, and leadership teams to ensure sold work is clearly defined, achievable, and commercially sound. Build and maintain strong relationships across the Salesforce ecosystem, including ISVs, SIs, and Salesforce stakeholders. Engage directly with customers through meetings, workshops, and project kick-offs, including regular on-site work across London and the UK. Contribute to shaping the longer-term Professional Services sales approach, with the opportunity to hire, mentor, and grow a team.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience selling Salesforce Professional Services projects
    • Background in a Salesforce ISV and/or SI environment
    • Strong understanding of how Professional Services are scoped, priced, and delivered
    • Mid-market and enterprise Salesforce sales experience
    • Strong personal connections within the Salesforce ecosystem, including ISVs, SIs, and Salesforce sales teams

    Salary: £60,000 – £85,000 (depending on experience). Commission / OTE: Competitive and uncapped, aligned to Professional Services revenue. Career progression: Opportunity to grow into a leadership role and build your own Professional Services sales team over time.
