As Senior CRO Manager, reporting to our Head of UX and CRO, you will ensure RocketMill delivers exceptional optimisation and experimentation services by leading the CRO programme across a portfolio of client accounts and supporting the strategic growth of the service area. You will have experience in managing a high performing team, delivering successful programmes of work and driving business value in an agency environment. Leveraging your expertise with a range of analytics, testing and insight tools, you will confidently apply analysis, UX innovation, behavioural insights, and technology to enhance our clients’ digital experiences. Your commercial acumen will motivate you to drive revenue growth for our clients and for RocketMill – you will be working with the head of dept. to build out the agency’s CRO portfolio and product offering, creating future growth. Work remotely, or from our offices in Brighton and London.
Key Responsibilities
- The development and accountability for CRO programmes that meet and exceed client expectations from strategy through to implementation.
- Steer and supervise other CRO specialists to lead their own accounts and help to manage implementation across a matrix of resources.
- Work with the UX team and our clients to develop user centred and innovative CRO solutions.
- Provide effective line management and support all CRO specialists in the team to achieve their personal development goals.
- Deliver and present analysis and audits that employ a range of quantitative and qualitative methods and that result in the identification of relevant and impactful opportunities.
- Empathise with client needs and build strong relationships ensuring CRO clients have a clear roadmap of activity that directly contributes to their business ambitions, maturity and objectives.
- Implement processes and initiatives to ensure high quality work and successful delivery of CRO client campaigns across the team.
- Research and develop thought leadership ideas to inspire and educate our client community supporting engagement.
- Support RocketMill’s Business Development and Client Leadership teams by creating business cases, proposals, and by pitching the Conversion Rate Optimisation product to potential clients.
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve RocketMill’s CRO product. This includes how we work effectively with our external build partner and internal UX team.
- Lead and develop the relationship with our external build partner as the CRO offering grows.
- Work with the Head of UX and CRO to identify recruitment needs as the CRO service grows, and lead the hiring process.
- Work with senior counterparts in UX, Media and SEO teams to plan and execute integrated CRO solutions.

- Maintain a high quality of service for CRO clients, and own responsibility for the work delivered by the department.
- Strong, effective and concise communication with senior client stakeholders.
- Develop case studies to showcase exceptional, award-worthy CRO work.
- Provide CRO training and support to the wider team as required.
- Keep skills up to date and follow industry developments, sharing knowledge amongst the team.
- Prioritise your own time and delegate effectively to ensure your skills are applied to best serve the needs of clients, the team and agency.
- Work closely with the Head of to contribute towards and implement action plans to improve our people, product, and processes.
- Delegate work as required and ensure quality of work remains of the highest standard.

- You will have significant experience working in a senior optimisation role and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the industry.
- You will be able to evidence experience with a wide range of analysis and research methods used to interpret user needs and behaviour to drive effective ideation for optimisations.
- You will have advanced analytical, technical, and mathematical skills, enabling you to identify appropriate CRO opportunities and execute analysis with a statistically robust approach.
- Your ability to communicate effectively to a range of internal and external stakeholders, with varying technical capabilities, will be essential to success in the role.
- You will recognise the pivotal role data and CRO plays in modern business and will take pride and joy in keeping your abilities at the forefront of the industry.
