Here’s what we need
Working as Media Planning Director you will be responsible for developing media strategy – understanding business objectives, identifying priority audiences, understanding media behaviour, mapping out customer journey and role of channels etc. Work remotely, or in our London and Brighton offices.
In this role you will work with some of our largest clients, building an understanding of their business’ objectives, market and audience to set the strategic direction for their approach to media. Working in close collaboration with our client leadership, media delivery, creative and analytics teams, you will lead the development of integrated media and comms plans across a diverse client portfolio. Reporting into the Head of Media Planning, this role provides the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and development of our strategy & planning department.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for developing media strategy – understanding business objectives, identifying priority audiences, understanding media behaviour, mapping out the customer journey and role of channels.
- Creation of cross-channel media plans, aligned to a clear objectives and measurement framework.
- Collaborating with our creative team to ensure that campaign concepts and executions align with planned media activations.
- Ensuring media strategies and plans are aligned to your clients’ business priorities.
- Presenting to senior client stakeholders.
- Supporting the client leadership team in maintaining a strong working relationship with our clients.
- Breaking new ground with ideas and innovations to meet our clients’ challenges and elevate RocketMill’s service offering.
- Contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
- Experience in planning cross-channel media campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of multiple media channels e.g. search, social, display.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and measurement technologies and their relative suitability for different client requirements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Rigorous approach to market and audience research.
- Numerate, comfortable working with data to forecast performance across channel.
- Experience working with creative teams.
- Hands on channel experience in an activation role.
- Experience with non-paid channels.
- Experience working with non-digital channels.
