Position: Crane Service Engineer

Location: London

Days: Monday – Friday

Start times: Various Start times

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 plus train and tube fares paid

A great opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer that can service pneumatic crane arms on top of London’s buildings, plus electrical fault finding on these machines.

As an Electro-Mechanical Service Engineer to a leading company covering Central London and the surrounding areas on a permanent basis.

Duties of a Field Service Engineer will include:

1. Providing electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance
2. Servicing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment on clients’ cranes on top of buildings
3. Installation of new equipment on customer sites
4. This is a must: NOT to be scared of heights on top of buildings
5. Working in a team for safety
6. Attending emergency breakdowns
7. Liaising with customers
8. Following health and safety regulations and processes

The ideal Field Service Engineer will have:

1. Experience working at height
2. Clean driving licence
3. Two years Electrical and Mechanical experience
4. Previous experience repairing and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment
5. Excellent communication skills
