Our Client is seeking a talented and driven Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its growing dispute resolution team. This role offers a varied caseload acting for both businesses and individuals across a broad range of civil and commercial disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
- Handle disputes including:
- Shareholder/director and partnership disputes
- Breach of contract
- Property litigation (commercial and residential)
- ToLATA, boundary and neighbour disputes
- Private nuisance, harassment and defamation
- Will, inheritance and professional negligence claims
- Debt recovery, possession and insolvency matters
- Draft legal documents (including statements of case, witness statements and settlement agreements)
- Conduct advocacy where appropriate and instruct counsel when required
- Advise clients on strategy including ADR, mediation and negotiation
- Ensure compliance with CPR and court deadlines
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or CILEX Lawyer/Litigator with current practising status
- Opportunities at:
- 2+ PQE
- 5–6+ PQE (senior level)
- Strong knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing deadlines
- Team player with ability to support junior colleagues
