About the Role:
Due to continuing expansion of our family run business supplying road sweeping services to our clients in the construction sector, a position for a HGV Plant Mechanic has become available to join our team. The job is workshop based between the hours of Monday to Friday (shift time may vary in line with the business needs) and Saturday 7am-1pm on a rota basis. Overtime will sometimes be required. You may also be called out on breakdowns.
Duties:
- As a HGV Technician working in the engineering team to service and repair HGV trucks and occasional plant machinery and JCBs.
- Must be able to work well in a team and communicate with other staff members.
Experience:
- HGV Mechanic: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 2 Licence (preferred)
- Driving Licence (required)
