Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday–Friday

Salary: £52,000–£55,000 DOE

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join a busy Slough bus depot and lead a high-performing engineering team. Working alongside the Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee planned and reactive maintenance, vehicle availability, fleet safety and regulatory compliance, while supporting the team to deliver reliable service performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop the engineering team.
  • Allocate planned and reactive maintenance work.
  • Maintain vehicle availability and reliability.
  • Support stock control and warranty processes.
  • Ensure engineering and safety standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with operations on breakdowns, vehicle allocation and changeovers.
  • Support absence, disciplinary and performance management.

About You

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
  • HGV/PSV or commercial vehicle maintenance experience.
  • Previous supervisory/team leadership experience.
  • Good knowledge of workshop safety and engineering standards.
  • Organised and IT literate.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • PCV licence desirable but not essential.
