The Role: Our client is looking for an experienced Coachbuilder to join their busy engineering team in Norwich. You’ll carry out high-quality body repairs and maintenance across a modern fleet, ensuring vehicles remain safe, presentable, and fully operational. This is a great opportunity to work on larger vehicles, including modern and electric fleets, while developing your skills in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out accident damage and bodywork repairs
  • Repair panels, fibreglass, glazing, and interior components
  • Complete collision and vandalism repairs
  • Perform paint preparation and minor touch-ups
  • Repair seating, flooring, and door systems
  • Rectify defects identified during inspections
  • Accurately record repairs, including insurance-related work

About You:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Coachbuilding or Vehicle Body Repair
  • Experience in vehicle body repair (PSV/HGV desirable)
  • Welding and paint repair experience advantageous
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • PCV licence beneficial (training available)
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
