Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour dayshift ONLY or £22.91 per hour nightshift ONLY

Contracted Hours: 38 per week (full time & permanent + overtime available)

About our Client:

We are now looking for an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Electrician. We would love to hear from qualified candidates with electrically biased experience and any ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, as well as experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and carry out vehicle electrical repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
  • Diagnose vehicle electrical faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
  • Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
  • To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies
  • To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain and develop technical skills as required

About You:

  • Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV preferred?
  • Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment with preferably electrically biased experience
  • A valid UK driving license; a PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential.
