We’re seeking a proactive and customer-focused Hospitality Operations Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of our client’s clubhouse. This hands-on role combines front-of-house service with operational management, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for all guests. You will play a key role in maintaining standards, managing bookings, supporting events, and driving revenue through excellent service and attention to detail. This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys variety in their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the clubhouse for daily operations
  • Welcome guests and oversee check-in procedures
  • Deliver exceptional service across reception, restaurant, and bar
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
  • Provide food and beverage service, including bar work
  • Carry out routine housekeeping tasks
  • Manage bookings and enquiries (phone, online, and in person)
  • Coordinate shooting lessons, group bookings, and restaurant reservations
  • Process customer payments and transactions
  • Maintain and manage the clubhouse calendar
  • Coordinate freelance staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Support events alongside the Events & Sponsorship Manager
  • Use Microsoft Business Central effectively for daily operations
  • Promote and drive sales of lessons, experiences, and memberships
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance guest experience
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures
  • Conduct routine checks, including weekly fire alarm testing

About You

Essential

  • Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Positive, team-oriented approach
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and scheduling tools

Desirable

  • Interest in shooting sports or countryside activities
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene certification
