Electrical Project Engineer Sector: FMCG / Food Manufacturing Location: Burton Latimer The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to deliver electrical engineering projects within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will coordinate electrical installations, equipment upgrades and plant improvement projects, working closely with production, maintenance, contractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities * Manage electrical projects, installations and plant upgrades. * Coordinate electrical contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams. * Monitor project progress, costs, quality and delivery schedules. * Review electrical drawings, technical specifications and project documentation. * Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning and handover. * Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, health and safety requirements and site procedures. * Minimise disruption to production during engineering works. Essential Requirements * Experience in an Electrical Project Engineer or similar electrical engineering role. * Background in FMCG, food manufacturing or industrial production. * Essential: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. * Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and installations. * Experience coordinating contractors and managing engineering projects. * Good understanding of electrical safety and technical documentation. Desirable * Experience with production lines, processing equipment or packaging machinery. * Experience delivering plant upgrades and capital improvement projects. * Relevant electrical engineering qualifications and site safety training.
