Location: Bracknell, Berkshire
Salary: £15.50 per hour (Basic)
Overtime: £23.25 per hour (Monday- Friday), £31 per hour (Saturday)
Shift Timings: 7:00am to 5:00pm
Contracted Hours: 45 hours per week

Rocket Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Plant & Tool Fitters to join a busy team in Bracknell. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals looking for long-term work with consistent hours.
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining HGVs, plant and heavy machinery
- Working across a varied range of equipment, meaning no two days are the same
- Carrying out mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine repairs
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Completing preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Preparing machinery and vehicles for work
- Attending breakdowns and responding to repair requirements when needed
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Keeping accurate records of servicing and repairs
- Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Requirements:
- Experience as an HGV Fitter, Plant Fitter, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or similar
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills
- Experience working on plant, HGVs or other heavy machinery
- Qualification such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent is desirable but not essential
- Diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Comfortable working on a variety of machinery and adapting to different challenges
- Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work to a high standard
- Full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
