Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Thurleigh. Pay: £12.91 per hour (Enhanced overtime rates payable after 12 weeks)
- Overtime Rate: £19.37 per hour (after 40 hours worked)
- Saturday Rate: £19.37 per hour
- Sunday Rate: £25.82 per hour
Working Hours:
- Shift Pattern: Friday - Monday
- Start Time: 07:00 - 15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
- Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
- Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
- Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
- Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
- Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
- Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.
