Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Thurleigh.

- * Standard Rate: £12.91 per hour
- * Overtime Rate: £19.37 per hour (after 40 hours worked)
- * Saturday Rate: £19.37 per hour
- * Sunday Rate: £25.82 per hour
- Working Hours
- * Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- * Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
- * Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
- * Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
- * Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
- * Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
- * Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
- * Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
- * Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.
- Candidate Requirements
- * Full UK driving licence.
- * Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- * Minimum of 2 years' driving experience in a similar role.
- * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- * Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Desirable Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not essential
- * First Aid certification
- * Fire Marshal certification
- * Previous experience within vehicle logistics, automotive, or yard operation
