Rocket Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Delivery Drivers to join a leading automotive business based in Thurleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, professional, and motivated individuals seeking long-term employment with consistent hours and excellent overtime opportunities.

Pay & Benefits

  • Standard Rate: £12.91 per hour (Enhanced overtime rates payable after 12 weeks)
  • Overtime Rate: £19.37 per hour (after 40 hours worked)
  • Saturday Rate: £19.37 per hour
  • Sunday Rate: £25.82 per hour

Working Hours

  • Start Time: 06:30 - 15:00
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely move and manoeuvre vehicles throughout the site.
  • Use handheld device (HHD) scanners to track, locate, and manage vehicle movements (full training provided).
  • Carry out basic vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues to the Line Manager.
  • Ensure all vehicles are parked and stored in line with customer requirements and site procedures.
  • Conduct vehicle damage checks before movement and report any findings promptly.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety for yourself and colleagues.
  • Drive responsibly at all times and adhere to all site speed limits and regulations.
  • Support wider yard operations and undertake additional duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
