Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Court of Protection Solicitor (Health & Welfare) to join their growing specialist team. Responsibilities include:
- Attending and, where suitable, conducting advocacy at Court of Protection hearings.
- Working collaboratively with the Official Solicitor, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and care providers.
- Ensuring compliance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and relevant case law.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014, and associated case law.
- Knowledge of Civil Legal Aid is advantageous.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and advocacy skills.
