Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled TIG Welder/fabricator to join our team based in Corby. As part of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality Stainless Steel and commercial trailers and rigid bodies, utilizing your TIG welding expertise to ensure precision and durability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality TIG welding on steel and aluminium components for trailers and rigid bodies.
- Work from technical drawings and specifications to execute precise welds.
- Collaborate with fabricators and engineers to meet production goals and client specifications.
- Ensure all welds meet the highest standards of safety and industry compliance.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MIG welding equipment as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Driving Licence needed as Van is providedwhen travelling to Clients sites across the Midlands
- Proven experience in TIG welding, especially working with steel and aluminium.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting salary: £16per hour.
- Salary reviewed after 3 months, with an increase to £18 per hour based on performance.
- Overtime rates: £25 per hour (Mon-Sat), £30 per hour (Sundays and Bank Holidays).
- Call-out pay: £100 per call-out, regardless of the duration or nature of the call-out.
