Small Plant Fitter - Repair Technician

Location Rugby Warwickshire

Salary(38k to 40k Salary plus additional overtime )

Permanent position Paid weekly.

Days- Full time- Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm (39 hour week)

Encouraged to start one hour early at 7;30am daily (extra 5 hours per week will be paid at time and a half overtime)

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, committed to going the extra mile to deliver an exceptionally high standard of service and can thrive in a busy environment.

The Package:

  • Basic Rate: £16.00 (Basic Annual Income £33K+)
  • Overtime paid over 45 hours at 1&?, 1& and Double Time.
  • Call Out bonus £100-200.
  • Bonus Scheme.
  • Vehicle provided.
  • Pension Scheme / Training / Team days out.
  • Monday to Friday. Overtime available evenings and weekends.

Plant Fitter / Engineer Role:

  • Routine Servicing and Maintenance of plant equipment including Excavators, Rollers, Dumpers, Telehandlers, Tractors from 0.5 Tonne to 20 Tonne on site.
  • Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out onsite repairs.
  • Arranging for machinery that cannot be fixed on site to be moved to the repair workshop.
  • Building strong working relationships on site with our customers.

Skills & Experience sought in successful candidate:

  • Well-presented and enjoys working in a client facing role as excellent customer service is an essential part of this role.
  • Level 1 Certificate in Plant Maintenance / Level 2 Diploma in Plant Maintenance
  • Full UK driving licence
  • An awareness of health and safety issues
  • A reasonable level of fitness
  • Efficient and flexible with the ability to work without supervision
