Hydraulic Fitter/Test Engineer
Location: Factory-Based with On-Road Work
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with an early finish on Fridays

The Role

As a Hydraulic Fitter/Test Engineer, you will play a key role in assembling, testing, and maintaining hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies. You will also be responsible for setting up and conducting tests using hydraulic test rigs, ensuring all equipment meets required performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test hydraulic power units and manifold assemblies.
  • Set up and conduct tests on hydraulic test rigs, using instruments such as pressure gauges and flow meters.
  • Record and analyse test results, producing detailed maintenance and service reports.
  • Assemble small electrical boxes (experience with electro-hydraulics is advantageous).
  • Maintain high standards of workshop organisation and housekeeping.
