Full job description
The ideal candidate will be required to service and maintain a variety of construction plant both on our sites and in the workshop. Fabrication and diagnostic experience would be desirable but not essential.
A full UK driving licence is essential. Cat C1 Licence is preferred but not essential.
We have a state of the art workshop with all the best tools available at your disposal.
Duties
β Repair, maintain and diagnose a variety of equipment including heavy plant machinery and small hand tools
β Weld, assemble, and fabricate metal components
β Operate power tools for cutting and shaping materials
β Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery
Skills
β Vast mechanical knowledge
β Proficiency with hand tools
β Experience in welding and fabrication
β Competence in using power tools
β Good communication skills
β Good understanding of electronics/diagnostics is preferred but not essential
Rate advertised is a guide only and will be negotiated before work commences depending on experience.
