We are working with our client to find a new Financial Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will have strong management experience, a proven track record in financial leadership within the manufacturing sector, and a recognised professional finance certification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes and ensure accuracy in financial statements.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
  • Work closely with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Monitor cash flow, manage financial risk, and oversee cost control initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve financial performance and resource utilisation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager within a manufacturing environment (minimum 3-5 years preferred).
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA (or equivalent).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and management accounting.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
