We are working for our client to find a HGV or PSV technician depot and we will take your engineering skills to the next level. If you are ready to embark on an exciting journey in vehicle maintenance and make a meaningful impact in our community, apply today with your updated CV.
For helping keep our fleet on the road, you will earn a good hourly pay rate and great rewards & benefits (see below). We will also provide all your overalls and the basic tools and equipment needed.
Key responsibilities:- Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
- Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
- Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
- To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies
- To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
- Maintain and develop technical skills as required
Location: Bristol - Working Hours: 38 hours per week - varying shifts available - can be discussed at interview (early)
About you:- A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e. City & Guilds Level 1&2)
- Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and superiors
- A valid UK driving license
- A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
- Right to Work in the UK
