Rocket Sports is a specialist sports marketing agency helping brands, rights holders and athletes navigate the commercial side of sport.

Co-founded by Sir Elton John in 2012, we work with some of the world’s best-known athletes, rights holders, brands and commissioners to create powerful commercial partnerships and original productions.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and personable Office Manager and Executive Assistant to support our CEO and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings, travel and appointments.
  • Prepare meeting materials, presentations and briefing documents.
  • Track actions, deadlines and follow-ups.
  • Help the CEO prioritise their time and stay ahead of key commitments.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support board meetings and shareholder communications where required.

Office Management

  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
  • Manage suppliers, equipment, subscriptions, facilities and office budgets.
  • Ensure the office is organised, welcoming and fully operational.
  • Identify ways to improve internal processes and efficiency.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support across the business.

HR and Team Support

  • Work with our external HR adviser to coordinate key people processes.
  • Manage employee records, holidays, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Coordinate probation reviews, quarterly reviews and annual appraisals.
  • Support recruitment, including arranging interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Prepare HR documentation, offer letters and internal forms.
  • Organise company meetings, team events and staff engagement initiatives.
  • Help maintain a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.

Marketing and Communications Support

  • Help coordinate company announcements, social media and external communications.
  • Keep the Rocket Sports website, credentials and company information up to date.
  • Work with external designers and suppliers to maintain a consistent brand.
  • Support industry events and initiatives that build Rocket Sports’ profile.
  • Assist with awards submissions
  • Help organise networking, hosting and thought leadership events

About You

  • Excellent organisational, administrative and time-management skills.
  • Proactive, confident and comfortable following up on outstanding actions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High levels of discretion, judgement and attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience supporting HR or finance processes would be beneficial.
  • An interest in sport, marketing or the creative industries would be welcome but is not essential.
