Overview

We are looking for an IT Lead based in our Cardiff Studio, who is both hands-on and strategic with a passion for solving real world hardware and software challenges. The role is hybrid in Cardiff, requiring 3 days onsite each week, with remote work on the remaining days.

What you\'ll do

  • Ensure our global teams have the equipment they need to thrive in their roles (hardware and software).
  • Support software licence and application lifecycles to support varied engineering and business workstreams.
  • Setup and manage critical infrastructure and systems.
  • Define and champion IT standards for a fast-growing globally distributed studio.
  • Support hardware (PC, Mac, Console Devkits, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain a secure, scalable computing environment.
  • Manage and improve our identity access management, remote access solutions and more.
  • Install and manage AV and conference solutions for global collaboration.
  • Create accessible, easy-to-use self-service IT documentation.
  • Facilitate and conduct security audits (ISO27001, SOC2) annually and maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Coach and mentor the IT Team while aligning IT with bigger business goals.

You may also have

  • Experience with centralized version control applications (Perforce, Git, etc.).
  • Experience with remote networking tools and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in running and supporting office networks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Experience with HRIS or security frameworks.
  • Automation or scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Experience implementing low-latency remote access solutions for desktops and consoles.
  • A love for gaming is a plus.
