The right person will be open and flexible, able to work on any large project or multiple small projects with a variety of clients, in technical environments with a track record of agile software development workflows, production processes, and testing. We also take on projects that are not directly game-related, but always bring an edge to our offering and an opportunity for all our staff to diversify their skillset, and for producers to establish an even stronger project management experience.
The ideal candidate will work closely with our developers and our client partners to support and augment feature development. As the main point of contact between the studio and our clients, the Senior Producer will be responsible for maintaining a productive and positive relationship, which includes ensuring timely and efficient communication, successfully delivering milestones, and keeping our promises to build trust.
TO ACHIEVE THIS, YOU WILL BRING:
- 5+ yrs professional production or project management experience
- Proof that you have shipped more than one game cycle through to release, bonus for any certification for current-generation consoles (e.g., Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5)
- Experience coordinating or managing multiple teams of multi-discipline developers
- A hardy familiarity and successful involvement with technical environments, agile development workflows, production processes, testing, and software development
- Master user proficiency of any current planning tools (e.g. Jira, ClickUp, GitHub) and able to adapt to any other software made available by the studio or partners
- An ability to create, track, and maintain schedules across multiple projects and teams
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- An internal drive to keep team members working efficiently and effectively toward project goals, keeping focus on the valuable product increments and scope
- A passion for continuous improvement and setting out new challenges for your studio
- Experience of mentorship skills, managing, coaching or mentoring less experienced producers
HOW YOU WILL DELIVER PER OUR VALUES:
- We Play Co-op: Foster a productive and positive relationship within the teams and client partners, proactive in setting out a culture and framework that builds and sustains trust.
- We Share a Passion for Play: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
- We Are Fearless: Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and roadblocks.
- We Optimise for Impact: Manage project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget, without crunching or affecting the wellbeing of all team members.
- We Elevate Every Interaction: Act as a production point of contact between the studio and clients, ensuring clear communication and productive collaboration during the project lifecycle.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER:
- Competitive Salary and Benefits Package: Your health and wellbeing is important to us, so we offer a variety of benefits including: Private Pension via Salary Sacrifice, Optional Private Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage, Annual Leave, plus Bank Holidays and Winter Break Office Closure.
- Annual Research Credit: We always encourage personal growth, so we provide all of our team members with an annual credit to further enhance your skills!
- Professional Development: We offer biannual reviews, as well as opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, internal tech talks, and the chance to learn from specialists with backgrounds from across the games and software development industries.
- Work-Life Balance: We really believe that home life comes first and we promote a flexible working environment. And as an added bonus: We donβt crunch!
- Family Friendly: We understand the importance of family, which is why we offer 6 weeks full of Maternity, Paternity, and Adoption Leave to support you during this exciting time!
- Office Perks: In addition to everything above, we also provide: Weekly Team Lunches, Snacks, Including the Good (Yorkshire) Tea, Fully Equipped Team Lounge, Including our Favourite Consoles and Games.
A FRIENDLY NOTE FROM THE RECRUITMENT TEAM: Let us do the work for you: Even if your profile isnβt an exact match for all of the qualifications listed above, we still want you to apply.
